(KTTS News) — The former police chief in Merriam Woods is charged with stealing and forgery.
Nathan Lewis was removed from office in February.
Investigators say Lewis forged city leaders names to buy an SUV, then registered the vehicle under his name.
Authorities say Lewis also had a shotgun taken from a department where he used to work.
