(KTTS News) – An inmate who escaped from a hospital in St. Louis Thursday is back in custody.
45-year-old Tommy Wayne Boyd was taken back into custody Thursday night in a grocery store parking lot.
Boyd was taken to Mercy Hospital South from the Potosi Correctional Facility on Wednesday for medical treatment. Video showed Boyd leaving the hospital on foot around 4 a.m.
Boyd is serving a 30-year sentence at the Potosi Correctional Center for statutory sodomy.
