(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to an in-home daycare in reference to a child that was not breathing on Tuesday.
The in-home daycare was located in the 1800 block of N Pearson Drive.
When deputies arrived, they located the child unresponsive and CPR was in progress.
Deputies took over CPR and assisted with CPR while the child was being transported to the hospital, where she passed away.
Detectives responded to the address and conducted an investigation that is still ongoing.
An autopsy will be completed to determine the cause of death.
