Former President Donald Trump was shot on Saturday evening during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

It’s reported that eight (8) shots in total were fired.

One bullet struck Trump in the top of the ear.

Video shows that Trump winced as the bullet hit his ear, he ducked underneath the podium that he was speaking at, and then Secret Service covered him.

Moments later, President Trump stood up, raised his fist, and told the crowd to “Fight! Fight! Fight!”

Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger confirmed that two attendees have died.

Team Trump posted shortly after the shooting that Trump is “fine,” and that he was transported to a local medical facility.

The shooter was killed by a Secret Service counter-sniper team.

President Joe Biden gave a statement following the shooting.

Around 7:42 PM, President Trump released a statement on Truth Social.

We know that the gunman was a male suspect. The name of the gunman has not been announced at this time.

Unverified video circulating on social media showed a body – that appeared to be clad in camo gear – lying on top of a beige-colored building outside the farm grounds.

This is a developing story. Please check back for more information.
