Police say a man is okay after driving his car off the road into a pond early Wednesday morning in southeast Springfield.
Fire crews were called to a water rescue on Edgewater Drive between Crestview and Southern Hills near Glendale High School around 5:45 a.m.
Officers say the driver walked home and then returned to the scene, but they don’t know why he ran his car off the road.
