Police are looking for suspects responsible for vandalizing new murals in north Springfield in graffiti that says “Black Lives Matter.”
Last month, remnants of a burned down warehouse were painted under a community project with grant money from Moon City Creative District and Habitat for Humanity.
Authorities are still searching for who did it, but unless there was a witness, officers say there isn’t much for them to go on.
The three artists who are behind the mural say they will continue to fix their art.
Police estimate the damage is worth about $2,000.
