The Cox Medical Center has received a grant from the Susan G. Komen foundation for $40,000 dollars.
The grant will help with some necessitates of breast cancer treatment, such as rides to the hospital.
There are many programs that provide free mammograms to women in the Ozarks, but very few programs exist to help them when a test comes back positive.
The Komen foundation recommends that women over 40 receive one mammogram a year
