(KTTS News) – A man from St. Louis is charged with a fatal shooting this week in Springfield.
21-year-old Justin L. Bartels is charged with second-degree murder, although police don’t think he’s the shooter.
Police found 18-year-old Lavelle Rose, III from East St. Louis, Illinois in a car Monday night in west Springfield.
He and a woman in the car had been shot several times.
Her injuries aren’t life threatening.
